Officer Training Day

This half-day program is usually held in late-September or early-October each year.  The program consists of breakout topics, such as Diversity and Inclusivity, Nuts and Bolts to keep your organization running, Event Planning and Marketing, various topics on Leadership, and an overview of Funding and Finances that are important for your group to know (Coca-Cola, Multicultural Education Fund (MEF), Student Senate, Student Union Activities, and Fundraising ideas for your organization). 

The event is typically held from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on a Saturday and includes free lunch and giveaways for the student attendees.  For more information contact SILC at (785) 864-4861 or by email at silcfront@ku.edu.
