Involvement Fairs
Hawkfest - Each year during Hawk Week, the Student Involvement & Leadership Center (SILC) and the KU Alumni Association host the largest annual student group involvement fair of the year, with approximately 180-200 student organizations tabling during the event. Sign-up information will be available to the KU student organizations via Rock Chalk Central in the late summer.

WinterFest - This event is geared toward KU new and incoming students as well as students searching for involvement opportunities on campus in the spring semester. For the Spring 2021 semester, WinterFest will be held virtually on Rock Chalk Central and give you the opportunity to learn about student organizations. During the fair, you can browse student organizations and chat live with current members via an online conferencing tool (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.).

Student Organization Training Day
This training session is usually held early in the fall semester each year. The training consists of topics to keep your organization running successfully, such as Event Planning and Marketing and an overview of Funding and Finances that are important for your group to know (Pepsi Funding, Diversity and Inclusion Fund, Student Senate, Student Union Activities, and fundraising ideas for your organization).
