Sarah Bowman joined the Student Involvement and Leadership Center team in Fall 2018, as the Assistant Director of Student Engagement & Development.

Sarah’s principal responsibilities include advising and supporting student organizations, as well as overseeing non-traditional student programming. Sarah came to KU after living in New York City for over a decade, and working as the Assistant Director for Student Activities in the Office of Student Affairs at New York University School of Law. Prior to that Sarah worked in Housing and Residence Life at the University of Michigan. Sarah received an MSW from Columbia University School of Social Work in 2011, and a Bachelors from the University of Michigan in 2005. When not at work, Sarah enjoys spending time with family, practicing yoga, and listening to podcasts.
