BEAK 'EM BUCKS ($50.00; $100.00; $200.00; $300.00; $500.00)
There’s no need to carry a lot of cash or hassle with change when you can pay the easy way with Beak 'Em Bucks - a prepaid declining balance account on your KU Card (official KU identification card). Beak 'Em Bucks provides a secure, reliable, and convenient method for paying for food, photocopies, printing, laundry, and KU Bookstore purchases on campus. You can use Beak ‘Em Bucks at approximately forty off-campus merchant locations as well! When using your Beak 'Em Bucks account, a discount on food purchases and other products may apply.  Visit www.kucard.ku.edu for more information about Beak ‘Em Bucks and your KU Card.

DISTRIBUTION:  The amount of Beak ‘Em Bucks you select through Optional Campus Fees will be added to your KU Card after January 9, 2017 and prior to the first day of Spring classes, which is January 17, 2017.

REFUND POLICY: There are no refunds except in cases of graduation, withdrawal, or transfer from the University.  Any balance remaining in your Beak ‘Em Bucks account at the end of the semester will transfer to the next semester.  Please visit the KU Card Center Website at www.kucard.ku.edu for additional information.

BOARD OF CLASS OFFICERS (BOCO) CLASS DUES ($10.00)
Your optional campus fee contribution allows the senior class officers to plan class projects and activities, select faculty, staff, and students for leadership and service awards, design the senior class banner, and choose the annual senior class gift to the university.

CAREER ASSESSMENTS ($40.00)
Confused about your major?  Not sure what you want to do after you graduate?  The $40 optional fee covers two career assessments that will be reviewed with a career coach at the University Career Center. Career coaches are specifically trained to help you get the most out of college by aligning your academic/work interests, skills, and personality.  Start your KU experience on the right foot.

DISTRIBUTION:  To get started, contact the University Career Center (785-864-3624 or ucc@ku.edu) to make arrangements to receive instructions.  The University Career Center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

REFUND POLICY:  Refunds begin January 20, 2017 and end February 19, 2017.

KU FIT GROUP FITNESS PASS (SPRING SEMESTER $50.00)
Over sixty KU Fit group fitness classes including indoor cycling, Zumba, BodyPump, yoga, Boxing 101, and Pilates are offered each week. KU Fit passes allow student card holders to attend all classes listed on the KU Fit schedule as often as they like during the semester! KU Fit classes are appropriate for all fitness levels and are held at the Ambler Student Recreation Fitness Center. The KU Fit schedule can be found online at www.recreation.ku.edu.

START DATE: KU Fit classes will begin the first full week of the semester and end during finals week. There are no sessions held over semester breaks, holidays or other dates specified on the schedule.

DISTRIBUTION: To complete your registration and obtain your KU Fit pass please stop by the administrative office (Room 103) of the Student Recreation Fitness Center. Distribution will begin the first day of school each semester.

REFUND POLICY: There are no refunds except in the case of medical issues with physician’s note.

STUDENT LEGISLATIVE AWARENESS BOARD (SLAB ($5.00))
The Student Legislative Awareness Board (SLAB) is lobbying by KU students for KU students. SLAB voices and protects the rights of KU students on the campus, city, state, and national levels. This includes, but is not limited to, advocating on the cost of tuition and textbooks, promoting the rights of students, registering student voters, and pursuing other relevant issues as directed by the student body. With your selection of the SLAB optional campus fee you enable these vital student efforts to continue.

This card provides not only a savings at several campus locations, but also offers extra experiences through Student Union Activities. DISTRIBUTION:  Distribution begins January 17, 2017 at the Kansas Union Welcome Center on level 4.

REFUND POLICY:  Full refunds for unused SUA Rewards Card will be issued through February 17, 2017 at the Kansas Union Welcome Center on level 4.  Refunds are not available for individual events.

WILLIAMS EDUCATION FUND SCHOLAR ($25.00)
